A huge corporation within a corporation, Philips IT was a combination of 50+ interlinked sites, all with different navigation systems and different design schemes, yet for the same audience. They needed a cohesive site, built on the framework of their existing site, that would provide the multitude of information to the specific audience.

With the data obtained from user interviews, the audience was classified into main sub-groups. Once the audience was clearly identified, the existing information was sorted and a sitemap drawn. User Profiles/Personas helped define the navigational schema.

Role:
Information Architect (Information design, wireframes and process flow )

Smitha's role in the project included analyzing the user interview data, identifying audiences, creating storyboards and mapping user scenarios; all of which were necesary poitns in defining the navigational schema.
