LinkSupport is a part of the IBM's intranet. Developed in websphere portal, this section of the intranet provides technical support and expertise in various technologies supported by different IBM centers and groups.
The main challenge in this project was developing a design that all stakeholders in all geographies were satisfied with. Since each geography had a different set of expertise, a design that was common, yet not redundant was a challenge. Along with adhering to the IBM intranet standards, the design also required a fundamental knowledge of websphere portal since the design was to be developed in the platform in order to be integrated with the main IBM intranet.

The process to design this system included stakeholder interviews, requirements gathering, information design, and collaboration with the business analysts.
